So many awesome XBLA (Xbox Live Arcade) games and Downloadable Content and most just don't have the money for it all. I have a solution to your problem: A site called Points2Shop. Here you can earn all the Microsoft Points and Xbox Live memberships you need. It doesn't cost you a dime. All you need to do is sign-up and complete offers. When you complete offers, you are rewarded "points" for which you can spend to buy XBL memberships, MS Points, and even games.
When you sign-up, make sure you use real info (real address, real e-mail) because when they send you prizes and you have info, or you're out of luck. They will NOT do anything with your information. When doing offers though, I recommend that you make another e-mail address that you don't care about to use. The offers will send you a bunch of spam e-mail. It is recommended that you use correct information when completing these offers. You can use fake info (and will most of the time get away with it), but you could be banned from Points2shop (though it's very unlikely). It's your choice though.
When earning points, be patient. It could take some time to earn a big-ticket item. Don't just give up. There are forums with people that can help. Also, make sure you clear your cookies after every few offers so you can get your points. Don't try to depend on referrals, it's extremely difficult trying to get people to sign up and there is tons of competition from other users.
